Natalie | Frome
An experienced stylist and company educator, Natalie guides our apprentices through their training and loves that “eureka” moment when everything clicks. She has a passion for both cutting and colouring, and finds real joy in seeing a look through from start to finish.
Away from the salon, Natalie is an adrenaline junkie who loves to travel and explore. She thrives on the creative energy of the Melanie Giles team and the inspiring space in which they work.
Sophia | Frome
Sophia is our go-to for the perfect blowout, blending volume, shine, and long-lasting style. A talented colourist with a flair for blondes, she’s trusted for creating bright, beautiful results that feel effortlessly polished. Away from the salon, Sophia recently ticked a skydive off her bucket list and loves swimming in her spare time
JJ | Frome
JJ is all about connecting with clients, making everyone feel welcome from the moment they walk in. Almost finished with her cutting training, she’s itching to bring shag cuts and mullets to life with her own creative twist.
Off the salon floor, JJ balances her love of raves with chilled home vibes, always keeping things fun, fresh, and full of energy.
Nichola | Frome | Beauty
Nichola is our manicure and pedicure specialist, with additional expertise in Lycon waxing. She began her career in beauty and massage therapy in 2008, working in a variety of spas and salons, and even spent time perfecting her skills aboard luxury cruise ships.
Most recently, Nichola has achieved a degree in Physiotherapy from UWE, further deepening her knowledge of the body and enhancing the care she provides to clients. Alongside her professional achievements, she is also a proud mum, bringing warmth, empathy, and a personal touch to every treatment.
Kate | Frome
A long-standing member of the Melanie Giles team, Kate is all about texture – from effortlessly undone shags to sleek bobs – and loves the precision behind a technically perfect cut. Her calm, confident energy makes every client feel in expert hands.
When she’s not in the salon, Kate’s free spirit comes alive through dance, wild swimming, and horse riding, embracing every moment with energy and style.
Ali | Frome
A home-grown star of the Melanie Giles team, Ali is on the salon floor and ready. She loves creating blonde, lived-in colours and styles that enhance her clients’ best features, adding her own creative touch to every look.
When she’s not in the salon, Ali enjoys dinner nights out, cooking a roast at home, and strolling with George, her adorable Frenchie.
Carli | Frome
Carli is a hugely talented stylist with a full clientele, passionate about all things hair – from precision cuts to creative colour. A true team player, she’s loved by her loyal clients who keep returning for her skill, style, and energy.
When she’s not in the salon, Carli enjoys a fun night out or a relaxing cruise with her family, always making the most of life’s little adventures.
Maddie | Frome
Maddie is a first-year apprentice at The MG Way, fully immersed in learning the craft. She loves perfecting blow-dries, experimenting with colour and tinting techniques, and mastering precise one-length cuts. Always focused and eager to learn, Maddie is soaking up every bit of guidance from the team.
Outside the salon, Maddie enjoys hanging out with friends, shopping trips, and heading out for fun days around town.
Gabi | Frome
Gabi is our in-house apprentice who’s loving every minute of learning The MG Way! She’s all about big, bouncy blow-drys, doing scalp bleach like a pro, and building her styling skills with flair.
When she’s not behind the chair, Gabi can be found hitting the shops, enjoying fun family time, or racing around on a go-kart—always ready for a laugh and a little adventure.
Ashleigh | Frome
Ashleigh is one of the apprentice team with a passion for lived-in colours and flawless blow dries. With great attention to detail and a warm, caring approach, she’s quickly making her mark in the salon. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family.
Amy | Frome
Amy is all about creating dreamy, lived-in blondes, sun-kissed highlights, and glossy brunettes. Blonding is her true passion, and she loves nothing more than helping clients discover and maintain the colour that feels perfectly them.
When she’s not in the salon, Amy’s usually off exploring new places, planning her next trip, or busy with the exciting adventure of buying her first home. Her love for colour and her easy-going, fun approach make every visit with Amy a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
Nick | Frome
Nick has been with Melanie Giles since we opened in Frome 13 years ago. A curls specialist and short hair cut expert, he’s known for his creativity and precision in every haircut. His loyal clients trust him completely, returning time and again for his skill, care, and the passion he pours into every style. He’s a true gem of the team.
When he’s not in the salon, Nick loves fishing or heading to the coast with his family, soaking up the sea air and good times.
Rosie | Frome
Rosie is our very own home-grown star! She’s a favourite with clients and the team alike, loving everything from classic highlights and glossy brunettes to root touch-ups, maintenance colours, and cutting long hair. Always rocking her signature pair of Converse, Rosie makes every visit relaxed and calm.
When she’s not perfecting hair, you’ll find Rosie dancing in shows or spoiling her beloved dogs — she brings the same passion and flair to everything she does!
Nicole | Frome
A long-standing member of the Melanie Giles team, Nicole brings over a decade of experience to the salon. She has a real love for curls – celebrating their natural texture, movement, and uniqueness – and finds joy in helping clients embrace their curls with confidence.
Away from the salon, Nicole balances creativity and adventure: from crochet projects at home to green-laning on her motorbike through the countryside.
Georgia | Frome
With six years at Melanie Giles, Georgia has a passion for blonde and lived-in colour, loving how Redken Shades EQ keeps hair healthy while giving the perfect finish. She thrives on the creativity of colour and the freedom to make every look her own.
Off the chair, you’ll find her soaking up holidays, shaking up a pina colada (she even keeps a cocktail shaker in the car), and enjoying her favourite amaretto sour.
Kerrie | Frome
With over 20 years of experience, Kerrie brings a wealth of skill and passion to the salon. She has a particular love for the precision of a classic bob and the craftsmanship of men’s tailored haircuts, always ensuring her clients leave feeling their very best. Kerrie thrives in the creative energy of Melanie Giles, enjoying both the beautiful Frome building and the supportive, vibrant team around her.
Away from the salon, life is all about family and the outdoors – whether it’s days out together or camping adventures .
Destiny | Frome
Fresh from training with Melanie Giles, Destiny is bringing her curl-loving skills straight to the salon! She’s obsessed with cutting curly hair to work with each client’s natural pattern, loves Afro textures, and can’t get enough of bright, head-turning blondes.
Destiny also loves teaching blow-dry styling, helping others master their techniques, and creating stunning looks for bridal parties. New to Bath city, she spends her spare time exploring the city, sipping coffee in cool spots, partying with friends, and cooking up tasty treats for the team—
